The 2014 is actually better at least in my two bottles. Less creamy,less chocolate, more coffee left over.

Smells of roasted coffee and dark chocolate. Tastes of chocolate and sweetness of vanilla over all a nice smooth morning stout.

One of my favorite coffee stouts of all time but cellared a year too long. Still excellent, but at year 5 it has lost some body, carbonation and coffee.

Most of it in the stew and only a taste for the chef. I need to make smaller stews to drink more of the beer.

Melted nestle crunch bar, except no crunch. And not hot like a melted chocolate bar. And darker chocolate. So I guess nothing like a nestle crunch bar.

On the second day of beersmas, breaking out a well aged 2015. And yes there is a baby on the front. Smoothed out, not much coffee, not much punch of anything, nice easy stout. Aged too long.

Slow cooking the stew for a lazy New Year’s Day. Half of the stout in for the liquid to start it. 1/4 for me. 1/4 to finish the stew later

Lovely semi-sweet nose and thin cinnamon colored head. Intense bitter coffee flavor up front with just a touch of chocolate sweetness. Good but not as unique vs other coffee stouts as expected.
