Bottled 1/14/2019. Age has served this well. Like a barrel aged dark cocoa milkshake. Which might be a tricky thing to pull off. There are some woody notes; the booze is muddled and the sweetness is muted. Amazing. I am sad that this is my last one.

Sharp and boozy flavors but holds so much rich chocolate and coffee boldness. It’s not my favorite type of stout, never love BBA-style stouts that often unless filled with adjuncts; however, it’s super solid and hides heat well except on the tongue. Yum.

My last one, and honestly still one of the best non adjuncted BA stout from Michigan. Got damn I’m gonna need a pils after this.

Wow, tasting great almost 3 years later. Little fudgey, awesome barrel. Really good. Last one. Boo.

Drink from the cellar, saving some bucks. This has become so smooth over time by the way.

Shared this width Soren J. … really smooth Imperial stout with bourbon, chocolate and coconut notes. Best enjoyed chilled but not ice cold to bring out the complex flavors

Another great imperial stout. Very rich and malty with really nice notes of bourbon

Ash, licorice, booze, brown dried cherries. From 2019, not the best aged, showing signs of oxidation but also still real good.

I don’t know why people are rating this so high - it’s pretty hot.
