A lot of sweetness and chocolate, some sourness, fruity, vanilla, cocoa and blueberry hints. Some bitterness and roasted malts.

Cellar pull... dear god this is awful. Didn’t like it fresh so I threw my second bottle in the cellar. Time did not do anything good for this. Still a sweet cloying mess.

Pretty sure we’ve had this bottle for like 5 years and randomly decided to drink it. Weird flavor and consistency, it’s like a cross between a super fruity sour or IPA that has juice in it and a bourbon barrel aged stout. Pretty tasty too!

Personally, this is dank as shit. Rich chocolatey stout with hella blueberries. Fruit has probably died down since being fresh, but still has a good amount of blueberry sweet/tartness, & light bourbon notes. Glad to finally try this guy.

Can’t go wrong with Founders. This bottle is at least 3 years old.

I think this is either a 2015 or 2016. Trying to clear out my cellar for some new stuff. This aged well...

2015 or 2016, not sure about it. Not as bad as many say. Of course too sourish in the beginning, with strong fruitiness and a little fake vanilla as a contrast. Everything balances after a few sips, with chocolate and licorice. Just a bit weak but good.

loaded with blueberries, it softens the stout and gives almost a sour taste to it. super smooth all around

Dark chocolate, vanilla, booze. Surprisingly, a bit tart. Loads of blueberry. So good.

Late check in (2017 Vintage) This was past its prime. Not terrible by any means but not great either. I know it gets a lot of flack but I like sweet stouts and use to really enjoy it.

Not as good as I remembered it. Needs to be pretty warm, not good directly from fridge.
