Cuvée Saint-Gilloise (Champions) (2017) M.

Super well aged beer. Exceptional fruitness and funk. Really nice taste of yellow stonefruits. Kot of layers but still very easy drinkable delicious blend.

Gueuze Loerik (2019) M.

Very young. Lots of acidic corners. Rustic lambic, mainly notes of raw green apples. But the potential of that lambic opens up after 5 or even 10 years.

Lou Pepe Gueuze (2013) M.

Had it second time. And it is great. Lots of fruitness in the aroma. Ripen citrusses, orange, tangerines. Full body for a geuze. Great hoppiness. Lots of eipen citrusses, yellow stonefruits too. Nice palate. Very pleasant bubble. Complex. Wonderful geuze.

Mindblowing. Thanks, Maksim O. Very complex, extremely tasty, saisonish, wonderful beer. Cantillon at it’s best.

Lambic D'Aunis 2020 M.

Great as well from the keg. Very delicate and refined grape lambic. 2020 vintage seems to be exceptional in the bottle as well as from the tap.

Zwanze 2021 - Parasol M.

Very LCI. Zwanze should always be something different and a bit experimental. I liked the kick of orange and spizziness. More agressive bubble as usual. However the taste if the beer was not so multilayered. Still, this brew was enjoyable.

Wonderful drink. Excellent lambic. So fruity, so balanced. Lots of layers. A true train of thought.

Grape must, woody hints, very slight hints of cherries, grapes in the aroma. Super well balanced, grapy, vinous, spicy notes. Long, vinous aftertaste. Really great and refined grape blend.

CLAC! (Trois Cépages) (2019) M.

What a great blend with reds! Vinous and grapy aroma. Spicy undertones, beautiful grapy notes, peppery notes. Very nice body, more vinous. Rich, almost full body. At leadt for a lambic with grapes. Beautiful.

God bless the lambics with blends of white grapes. Grape must and fruitness. Beautiful funk. Grape must, spices, lots of vinous notes. Huge potential, huge complexity already now. Beautiful brew. Beautiful blend.

Lambic D'Aunis 2020 M.

Very late check-in. d’Aunis is in incredable shape. Aroma had some lactic notes, but the taste is really refined, grapy, complex, vinous and delicious. Grapes shine through and the balance is really good. Acidity is rather medium. Very good.

Sophia Lambic (2020) M.

Really nice aroma of grapeskins, orange peel and grapefruit. Complex. Lots of grapefruit, orange peel, grapeskins in the taste. But it is not empty but juicy and deep taste. Crazy blend. Tasty.

Drogone Lambic (2021) M.

Red berries, grape skins and very slight lactic notes in the aroma. Tender refined and quite dry palate. Grapes, red berries in the taste. Slight peppery notes. Refined, quite light blend. Delicious.

Aronia Lambic (2019) M.

Pure aronia in the aroma. Tannic, dry, vinous, grapy. Lots of berries. Very nicely balanced. Spicy notes, some barnyard, mineral notes too. Very nice blend.

I like Cantillon Kriek a lot, because lambic shines through the cherries, and this composition and balance makes this kriek very special. Pure classics.

The best farmhouse lambic. A lambic juice with everything you wish. Such a great beer.

Gueuze 100% Lambic Bio (2019) (+25% 4 Year Lambic) M.

LCI from Christmas Eve. This blend has a very complex and deep aroma. Definitely different than the classical Cantillon geuze blend. The same continiues in the taste. Notes of oak, raisiny undertone. Medium minus acidity. This blend has no bubble in it.

After five years nothing has not changed. Good memories will always be with me. It is a very well balanced and lively blend. Less acidic than 2017 version if the Fou Foune. Lots of yellow stone fruits.

Fou' Foune (2017) M.

Peachy, apricoty aroma. Earty, grassy, citrussy, peachy, apricoty taste. Citrussy notes are dominating. Reminds Saint Gilloise. Acidity is medium +, but it is not influencing the balance of the brew.

Fou' Foune (2019) M.

Slight cellary notes, hints of apples, apricots in the aroma. Peaches, funk, medium acidity. Rather more acidic finish. But still nice brew.

Fou' Foune (2020) M.

Sessionable, super well balanced apricot lambic.

50 Degrees N - 4 Degrees E (2020) (Cognac) M.

Needs decanting. But still very raw and young. It has a cognac base, but finish is rather acidic and bitter. Hope this a) was a one timer “not so good bottle” or b) this brew develops and will mature in the cellar.

Figs, cocoa, raisins, hints of berries, sour coffee beans in the aroma. Coffee beans, cocoa, berries in the taste. Dry and pleasant mouthfeel. Dark chocolate and cocoa in the aftertaste.

We meet again. Vanilla, cherries, cherrystones. Complexity. Lots of cherries, vanilla, cherry skins. Super nice mouthfeel. Extremely well balanced brew.

Delicate cognac aroma. Leave the beer to the glass to breathe. Cognac is so well integrated. All the complexity comes out in the aftertaste. Long halo of cognac after that. So nice brew.

Delicate brandy and strawberry note with woody and oaky notes. Delicate notes if brandy, mixed with lambic. Notes of apples, wood, leather and brandy. The barrel is so well integrated. Wow. So good.
