Solid stout with strong hazelnut on the nose but lighter balance on the nose.

Roasty, slightly nutty nose. Pretty smooth, not too full or too thin. Big coffee flavor up front, slightly bitter, followed by a smooth nuttiness and a booze finish.

Not a huge Stout fan,( I know I'm missing out on a lot of great beers) I'm always willing to try any of the KBS line from founders

The bottled 2/22/22 has a bit too much coffee and not enough bourbon. Might have to sit for 6 months next time.

Hazelnut is pretty strong and smoky. Enjoy it but drowns out the barrel slightly

Fairly strong hazelnut flavor with a slight coffee flavor. Not too boozy.

Wow. So much coffee. No bitterness. Perfect amount of sweet. A favorite in the series for me.

Now that's some serious Hazelnut... (extact). Dominates the nose and big on the pallet. Would be better if this nutty adjunct were better balanced. That said, I still get the coffee (a plus) but not much barrel (not a plus). It's OK.
