It’s a big beer, rainy afternoon sipper, lots of barrel, chocolate, not much in the way of cherry. Still nice. #BeerFTW

Room temperature mellows the lofty 11.6% adjunct sweetness ratio, maturing her moderately tart, almost winey, cherry predominant profile, drizzling notes of chest warming, bourbon infused, chocolate syrup across a familiarly smoky, KBS flavor spectrum.

It’s cherry…. It’s sweet…. But it’s also choc and roasty and 11.6%abv…. BUT, kinda feeling inadequate with a 6oz. pour. lol

Another one from the worlds best advent calendar. This one is sweet and smooth.. doesn’t feel like a high ABV beer.

Catch up. They’re not going to top the OG and some of these variants are just…why?

Imperial Double Stout. Nice & smooth with a slightly sweet chocolatey slightly tart cherry boozy flavor. An excellent dessert/after dinner beer.

Oh yeah! This iteration definitely lives up to the series name. Upfront & rich chocolate presence balanced by notable coffee & Bourbon flavors. Cherries are distant & barely noticeable while oakey notes round up the complex profile. Slight boozy finish.

Much like the blueberry, a little unsure on 1st sip, but the more I warmed up to it, the more I dug it. For me, the regular KBS is too boozy & these fruit versions remove that heavy-handed edge.

This wasn't that great the cherry kinda comes through but not like in a crazy amount. It is oaky though. Mostly the bad score is cause I don't like it. This is the first founders I've had but not the first barrel aged. They should've done better. Smh

I like this more than I thought I would. Cherry is present, but not overpowering. Good chocolate and barrel finish.

Roasty bourbon notes. Silky on the tongue. Some chocolate. Not strong on the cherry.
