It's time to rate this one 4.5 For years I appreciate this beer, always rated it a bit lower then founders CBS-KBS-Curmudgeon, but this threesome can get company of a fourth member. Still have old ones of this in the cellar, should do a tasting.

I had been missing this beer for 4 years so was pretty excited to find it again. Sadly it falls a bit flat for me. Feels like a watered down stout. Wishing it had more body and bitterness

Boozy! Dark fruit and light spice makes for a stark sipper with a sweet caramel malt body. Perfect Christmas drink.

Seems a bit muted compared to older batches. Seems thin/light. However, still a great beer.

Haven’t had any founders in awhile. Beer tastes as good as I remember with some notes of racism and selling out.

Caramel, sweet dark fruit plus good amount of bourbon. Body is thin. Overall very tasty and enjoyable.

Sweet caramel, lighter bourbon touch, plenty of vanilla and quite a bit of oak. Tannins are oddly high.

A Scottish Ale/wee heavy and at 11% abv a real powerhouse. Aged in bourbon barrels. Malty with notes of bourbon carmel and roasted malt.

Delicious beer. Smooth, oaky, very light caramel sweetness, boozy and great flavour from the bourbon barrels.

Aroma røstet malt, tørket frukt, nøtter, appelsin, kakao og eikefat. Smaker røstet malt, tørket frukt, nøtter, appelsin, lønnesirup og bourbon fat. God varm avslutning👍🍺😎👍🍺😎
