It’s delicious! Smooth, malty, warming! Nice bourbon presence! Bottled on 3/24/22 and it’s fantastic for being so fresh!

I’ve had this beer 100’s of times over many years. It is my “go-to”. Beer I have to give it a five because it’s honestly a perfect beer.

Reminds me of a barleywine…. A bit thin but pleasant sipping. The abv is quite warming

Smoother than the aged versions, Carmel pushes out with a chocolate plum finish. This is great! I wouldn’t age this one.

This is one of the beers that got me into craft beer. Haven’t had one in over a year, and while it’s not hitting me like it used to, this is still a solid brew.

Very good strong ale with bourbon caramel vanilla notes with Scotch ale undertones.

Been a while since I had one of these. Years ago this opened my eyes to barrel aged beers. Doesn’t seem to be what it was then but still holds a special place with me.
