Heavy bourbon notes, mild finish. Would like a little more nutmeg/cinnamon hint.

Malty with a nice boozy surprise from the barrel aging.

Ok. The barrel overtakes any real Marzen flavor that you would be looking for. That being said, it is a tasty bourbon barrel aged beer. Pretty significant heat - might let this sit for a little bit before I open the next one.

At 10% gotta be the strongest marzen I've ever had. And I taste it. Don't taste much of the other flavors

Leafy malty, bready with a barleywine taste - no bite, and the marzen does come out at the end and as you drink it, there’s a subtle crispness too

I Iove Founders, Marzens, and BBA beers. Yet this doesn’t quite do it for me. The vanilla aspect of bourbon barreling is focused more than anything else.

Very smooth. Bourbon doesn’t overpower the marzen so you get the malt. Good caramel notes. Great beer.

Finally done painting the shed. Now to sit here and watch the squirrels. This beer isn’t bad at all. I actually quite enjoy the aroma. Having said that, this just kind of demonstrates that not all beers are better or require time in a bourbon barrel.

Nice amber color, light Marzen nose. Bubbly on the tongue, with a late, light alcohol burn. I don't notice the bourbon barrel taste, it must just mellow out the flavor. A nice Marzen. A decent seasonal, not something I would otherwise reach for.

Strong and malty, with a powerful bourbon taste, yet it is incredibly smooth despite the high ABV and features beautiful caramel notes.

A unique taste. The bourbon gives it almost a buttery flavor. Not bad but not exactly great. Definitely can't tell it's 10% though.

A cool evening, so having a second imperial Märzen. This is malty with balanced notes of bourbon & light vanilla, a bit of alcohol in the finish. Thanks, Nate

Have to give credit where it’s due, I haven’t had many barrel aged Oktoberfests in my many years of celebration
