Boozy — interesting variation on an Oktoberfest — it’s not bad but probably not something I’d choose over a traditional Oktoberfest next time

This is a new style, an Imperial Oktoberfest, bourbon barrel aged. Nice bourbon aroma, and the bourbon comes through in the malty & sweet flavors. 10.0% ABV. Excellent!

Rich, caramel a little bourbon and smooth. It may not be the ultimate that it claims to be it is damn good.

I want to hate this. It tastes like someone poured vanilla vodka in a marzen. But the vanilla taste like cake icing. Anyway, another ridiculous "extreme" beer for no real reason other than they can.

Really good! I usually stick with the authentic Munich festbiers but I made an exception for this one and am glad I did.

I like. Malty. Sweet. Nice upgrade on a marzen style. Highly recommend this season.

Everything it promises it delivers on. Definitely the toffee-like flavor of a Märzen, definitely the strength of a bourbon barrel aged ale. What a treat. I couldn't help but smash the four pack in a single night. Cheers!

It's definitely different and definitely interesting. Took a minute to get used to but it's not bad. Barrel age not too heavy, doesn't overpower. Double ingredients makes the marzen a lot sweeter.

Nice taste. Not overpowering, but just enough! I’ll definitely have another!

All Marzens are NOT equal! Why can't all Oktoberfest releases be 10% ABV and bourbon-barrel aged?

Moderate barrel flavors overpower the lighter Oktoberfest base beer. Not bad, but doesn’t need to be barreled.

Interesting. A lighter, less sweet backwoods bastard (a scotch ale I know) with a creamy finish.
