Smooth and nice barrel for the style. Kinda wish it was more 7-8% than 10% tho

Good. But bourbon barrel aged is not something I’m sure I like for this style.

This does not taste like a 10% ABV beer. It goes down far too easily.

A great birthday present from my boo! Thanks Jen! Oktoberfest is one of my favorites. Caramel, malty sweetness, mixed with Bourbon and big booziness works out superbly. She knows what's up!

Well-rounded flavor with a hint of malt mixed in with some sweet bourbon goodness. Rich and very smooth!

Plenty of malt notes plus a fleeting sweetness, then you get a fantastic blast of bourbon notes. Excellent. Prost!

Was saving this bad boy for a while. Interesting twist to the Oktoberfest style. Really lose the normal Oktoberfest flavors, but man does that barrel age bitch slap you in the face. Pretty solid stuff, 10% banger.

This falls into the category of “wish I’d read the label before buying.” Bourbon barrel aged Oktoberfest? Blasphemy, I say! Good thing it was only one of a mix and match six pack. Full disclosure: I do not like whiskey of any kind, especially bourbon.

I feel like this is Founders response to Bell's Uberon. Not even close to Bell's bourbon barrel aged ale. Feels flat.

Very still. Nice malty flavors. Some dry pitted fruits.

Thought the bourbon would overpower the maltiness of the maärzen, but this beer has a light touch of the barrel that shows up at the beginning and then let’s the traditional flavors shine through. Well-construction.
