Toasted and sweet malty with lots of caramel and fudge sweetness, plethora of dried fruit shred, nice spices, full bodied, laced through with vanilla and bourbon into the warming sweet malty finish. Lovely.

Asså vad bra denna är. Tycker oftast Founders mår bättre av lite tid men denna var riktigt bra färsk ändå. Svingott. Stora trädiga fat toner med bourbon och hög beska. Klass!

Lots of bourbon. Hint of sweet orange and cherry.

Imp Brown Ale lagrad på fat och sedan berikats med apelsin o lite körsbär…som vanligt får Founders ihop smakerna…klart kul smuttare! 👍

If you shut your eyes so tight and imagine you're actually drinking a cocktail, uncanny.

Perfekt att smutta på ett tag. Styrkan känns och påminner mycket om en old fashioned.

A cocktail transmuted into a beer. Damn! Sweet and bitter at the same time. Spiced and boozy.

Very intriguing! Like a barleywine, but I also get the orange peel and cherry, though subtle, and likely wouldn’t have if I didn’t know to look for them. Smooth, almost creamy mouthfeel. Goes down deceptively easy!

Similar to 2021 edition: vanilla upfront, fleeting coconut, orangey citrus finish, all wrapped in boozy bourbon.

Andra gången man dricker denna, första gången var det en bottle shop series, oklart om det är någon skillnad på dessa. Barleywine-känsla alltjämt, faktiskt lite tvålig i smaken också, men founders härliga fatsmak väger upp en hel del.

Adult snax. Smoother than I remember the bottle shop series being. Nice.

What better way to prepare for an upcoming trip to Michigan than sipping a Founders? This one is plenty boozy, and the BB-aging is no small factor. The orange peel, orange extract, and cherry are a nice touch making it worthy of its name.

Bottled 06/09/22. Aged just about a year and quite well! I think it brought out the bourbon more with a solid flavor! 🍻
