Strong aroma of bourbon; maple is fairly strong; coffee and chocolate; light vanilla. Taste has those flavors and a little salt(?); fairly dry; fairly bitter. Complex and it all fits together well. A very good beer.

Almost went 4.5. Really good. Vanilla, maple, a touch sweet but good. Definite bourbon barrel melds well with the rest. Base is a porter though base flavors and aromas are mostly masked

Enjoy the flavor, even if tad sweeter than their usual. Porter base could use bit more roastiness or some coffee, but nice subtle bourbon finish. 4.1, may retake better.

More vanilla then maple syrup which is good but not as much bourbon as I was expecting.

The vanilla is prominent which I totally love! Not as boozy as I thought it would be! Delish!

Delicious chocolatey mapely goodness. Barrel aging gives another level of depth with the vanilla

This one was interesting. Wasn’t bad, but wasn’t great. Pours a black color with some aromas of maple. The mouthfeel is medium with interesting flavors of some subtle maple and a little bitterness. Not really getting the vanilla or bourbon.

Nice smooth vanilla, maple & strong. Unfortunately, there is a real slight, late, bitter taste that appears in the roof of your mouth.

More subtle bourbon barrel, the vanilla and syrup are amazing. This blends perfectly with the robust malt backbone. Tastes like a nice strong coffee
