Oh hello, little treat. I hold stouts to a high standard - if they’re too roast-y, all I can taste is cigarette butt. But this smooth little guy passes with flying colors. Beautifully maple-y, fudge-y to the extreme, silver-y instead of cloying. Mmm!

As good as the original. All flavors subtle except the chocolate. This is very chocolate forward brew. Maple, coffee, roasted malt, dark fruit and oakey flavors are all there and beautifully balanced. Love this one. So good forgot picture...lol.

I’m a fan of Founders’ simple goodness. This one’s praiseworthy as well; more of a desert sipper, think lava cake in a bottle, with a hefty dose of roasted coffee emerging in the finish and a wave of sweet bourbon booze. I like that.
