Chocolate fudge in spades...overcomes barrel aging however...

Bottled 8/9/22. Still plenty of maple and the familiar KBS bitterness. Chocolate evident through the finish mostly with a baking cocoa like bitterness. Previous sweetness is subdued, overtaken by the Imperial Stout profile. KBS roots showing through.

Was able to find this on a trip to Indianapolis. The maple/fudge taste is a delight.

Good, but could be more rich. Feels a little thin. Nice flavor.

Maple, big fudge, and coffee on the nose. Taste is enormous mocha, maple must've aged out, no bitterness at all - at least not served at a low room temp. Nice, solid dessert stout. Bottled 8/9/22 4⭐
