I'm not a fan of this label. I wish I had a bottle of the previous one. I did save a bottle with the empty highchair label. I believe that was 2015 and mandated by Michigan LCC.

Not sure if there was something in my cup, but this turned out very bitter for me, even compared to other coffee stouts. An okay flavor besides that, though.

Brilliant! Chocolate and coffee notes throughout, rich and creamy without being overly sweet.

The taste is pretty great, but it’s weirdly light for a 8.3 ABV. Then again, as a “breakfast stout” I guess it fits. It’s just not all that interesting to me unfortunately.

Very good flavor and balance of stout, coffee and chocolate notes.

Lots of coffee with milk. The roasted malt flavour is definitely there too, but none of it is overpowering. Quite pleasant and sort of mild, which is surprising.

Haven’t had this one in a long time. Simple breakfast stout, no barrel, no adjuncts, just flavor of dark baking chocolate for days.
