Dry, deep, dark chocolate and coffee with a boozy barrel finish. A bit drier than I remember—could be a tad sweeter, but gets better as it warms.

It’s certainly a classic KBS. Once was iconic and heavily sought after is now standard. And yet it’s still very good. Not the rarity class. But spectacular on its form. The recipe stands out really set the bar. Cheers!

Fine freshness, massive body. Heavy stuff with coffee and cocoa taste. Roasty overtones. Well balanced bitterness. Detectable alcohol, long lasting aftertaste.

4+. On one hand, it's a shadow of its former self. On the other hand it has a price point that makes its sole competitor Dragon's Milk. KBS is better.
