Bottle 2023-08-03, Batch 2216 6. Brown sugar, coffee, vanilla and cocoa powder on the nose with a hint of oak and leather. Rich and creamy, vanilla, honey, coffee and dark chocolate and cocoa powder. I have to get a bottle or two to age for a bit.

Touché! With this batch Founders strike a beautiful balance between roasted coffee, sweetness and the whisky barrells, the latter sometimes too dominante, but not this time. So likeable. Cheers!

Did a verticle dating all the way back to 2011! 11 and 12 were decent, but fell off. 16-19 bitter coffee and a little oxidized. 2020 was lots of bourbon and held up well. Overall a good time.

Big, boozy and boisterous - like some people I know. Smooth and bitter with dark chocolate and coffee. 4.1
