Nice caramel color, though the head didn't last too long. Smooth finish and pleasant (but not overpowering) sweetness.

One of my favorite Founders beers. Just love the way the boozy bourbon notes pop against the caramelly, smoked peat Scotch Ale notes.

Pleasantly surprised with barrel aged ale. They tend to be overpowering in my opinion. This ole bastard is full of flavor, smooth and drinkable

Very subtle nose with notes of hazelnut and coffee. FLAVOR THOUGH!! Explosive. Vanilla chocolate little Smokey bourbon hint of maraschino cherries, finished silky with chocolate mascarpone chocolate frosting. Flavor. Little to no bitterness perfect.

Smells like caramel, chocolate, almost Twix like but with some sort of fruit… anyways flavor is great, not overpowering, but very full. Definitely caramel, some spices, great bear. Not hoppy, not super thick. Almost dessert-like and silky. J ✅
