Not sure I've ever had the KBS and Backwoods Bastard back-to-back. This is very creamy.

One of my old favorites. A real treat, after a day of painting in the dining room.

I have to give it a 5. The tacos I made are unworldly, and the beer's presentation is a 10. Strong beer, but everything about is incredible. The name, taste, alcohol percentage.

Always a treat. Ya ole bastard! Heavy bourbon booze and big malt with sweet vanilla.

This barrel aged Scotch ale is likely my favorite beer in the world. Caramel, oak, Scotch & bourbon flavors perfectly done. We need more barrel aged Scotch ales around, because they don’t get much better than this.

First fresh one I've had in a while. 2022. Just as phenomenal as ever! Got to love your backwoods bastards out there. Cheers!

Absolutely awesome. One of the greatest Scotch ales I have ever tasted. Served from my cold room which provided slightly cooled temperature, perfect for this type of beer.

Been awhile since I gave it a check-in, what a fantastic, oft-overlooked beer.

Watch out Coldsmoke. This might be my new favorite beer!

Fantastic. Very complex. Like a toasted piece of mahogany smoked on a fire of peat and coffee and then covered in tung oil.
