A go to Scotch Ale. Founders nailed it with this one.

Faded a tad. Lots of licorice, coffee, slightly burned caramel, loads of bourbon, quite boozy nowadays, not as balanced and smooth, oxidation has also started to take its toll.

Crazy. It’s like a sweet bourbon that’s been turned into a beer. Bitter, sweet, bourbony, peaty and heavy.

smokey peat, oak, vanilla, coffee, Islay floral notes; barley, toasty malt and a shortbread finish.

Fantastic flavor and scent. Like it just came out of a barrel. A definite must try if you like strong flavors

Back in my local for the first time since the pandemic, the Knights are still tied.

DecAnt! Wonderfully devoloped charred scotchiness. Frothy/pruney mid temps warm to unyieldingly smoky, boozy full body flavor, somewhat less entertaining but plentily palatable. Close to 4 but props for consistently well executed barrel aging en masse.

Отличное выдержанное в бочке пиво, пить холодным не стоит, иначе теряется вкус.

🇺🇸 Founders Kitchen Take-Over. Pleasant Bourbon aroma with sweetness and some mild peaty whiskey notes. The flavor has strong alcohol presence. Bourbon smoothens nicely. Bottled on 12/17/20.

Heel lekker. Qua smaak richting een klassieke Belgische dubbel/quadrupel. Licht rook. Mooi spul.

Pizza dough aroma, cherry, wood, a little hop bitterness, somewhat sweet. Perhaps a bit to much cherry for my taste, but overall very nice
