Random beer I have never had before, it drinks pretty smooth, I feel like it’s more barrel than scotch ale, but it works.

Nose is caramelized brown sugar, oak, black molasses, dark fruits, and some barrel notes. Taste is barrel up front, followed by oak, vanilla, scotch flavor, dark fruits, and some spiciness. Pretty thick bodied. Upper medium bodied feel. Very solid.

Had a fresh one yesterday. Cracked a 2017 tonight, and it’s held up beautifully. 🍻

Если я все правильно рассчитал, то пиво, бокал и пробка от Основателей поволит мне получить бэйдж от Со-основателей😜. Самому Гендальфу три года эйджа на пользу не пошло, подсох да, но увы и основательно просел в теле🤣

Smooth, good flavour, slightly peaty. Not too strong, not too smooth. Just right.

Quite enjoyable. But a bit boozy and harsh this time around. Definitely preferred Great Scot! to this but again both were quite good.

Haven’t had this in a while. Smooth and the Barrel Aging isn’t too strong.

Wow! So many flavors. Boozy barrel flavors permeate. Sweet, but not syrupy. Very slight bitter after taste.
