I was not expecting much. Berries and stouts typically are really good or smacky pucker fake jolly rancher taste. I was pleasantly surprised as this wasn’t the latter. I would say fantastic but certainly better than average for the style.

A tart blueberry on initial taste that flows into deep roasty coffee and a rich dark chocolate. The finish has a nice charred oak.

This was an interesting one. It was very rich from barrel aging, but the mix in of the blueberries gave it almost wine-like taste.
