Definite blueberry and coffee but not getting much barrel. Still very tasty.

Soft and subtle jammy profile with the barrel sneaking in on the back of the tongue. The beer has a great sweetness which some of the other KBS lack. They really delivered on a great blueberry stout this time around.

Well! It’s good. Could be much better. Was expecting that classic KBS chocolate and mild coffee roast. Instead very little on the nose. And tart blueberries with a hint of chocolate and vanilla in the end. Cheers!

I love KBS and blueberries, but this combination is somehow less than the sum of its parts. Still a good beer, but most other KBS variants are better IMO.

We all know that KBS is great, but what in the heck will blueberries do to the mix! I had to find out. You should too.

Bottled 11Jul2023. Thick, syrupy body. Blueberry flavor is not very pronounced, more like a vague tartness on top of the classic KBS coffee/chocolate/bourbon flavors. Smooth, even at 11.2%abv. Not sure if this will age well.
