Advent calendar #4. As pumpkin beers, it's one of my favorites.

Very burbony and very mapley. And I think I smell raisins. Huh?! This is weird to say but I think I can differentiate the yam instead of pumpkin. Has plenty of the burbon sweetness and the maple to mellow the hootch out. Get some cinnamon and nutmeg. Fab

Great balance of barrel aging, spices, and maple sweetness. Any pumpkin flavor is somewhat muted behind these. Overall delicious.

Nutmeg, cinnamon with pumpkin in background. Sweet maple all the way thru. Spices add , but do not overwhelm flavor profile. Over ice cream ?

This is another example of what I keep saying… “I don’t like Pumpkin beers and yet, I have never had in I didn’t like” (I guess I really do!!!)

Well done for the style. Exactly as advertised with the barrel really taking it up a notch. Glad I ignored the negative reviews and gave this one a chance. Will definitely go back for more around Halloween

[bottled 06-29-2023] Rich, sweet, autumnal gourdness. The epitome of "imperial" yams.

Maple and pumpkin. Will this work? It does in this one!! The sweetness of the maple plays off the earthiness of the pumpkin. I really like this one.

Nice warm approach to a Fall with a nice rich barrel aged pumpkin ale.

This is great thanks Dad! Definitely sweet from the maple but can taste the spices and the barrel aged. Smooth for 13%!

Rush of pumpkin spices followed by a sweet boozy aftertaste.

Wow. Big boozy sweetness with lots of barrel and maple syrup with notes of cinnamon and nutmeg. Straight booze breath when you exhale. Cheers

Founders is just good at beer. Complex layers of cinnamon, nutmeg followed by the boozy maple bourbon taste. Well done

This may be my favorite "pumpkin" fall beer. Maple comes through the most but still light. The spices and barrel all balance out smoothly

I like it. One of the better pumpkin ales I’ve had, actually. Nice full flavor at 57 degrees. It should be interesting to see how it is as it warms.

Boozy as can be. Tasty thing though! Thanks Aaron!
