Ratebeer 100/99 47-е место Top-50 Ratebeer в категории Stout Imperial. По результатам 2020 года Founders заняла 7-е место в Top-100 лучших пивоварен мира по версии Ratebeer. Льется из бутылки как густая нефть. Очень красивая стойкая бисерная кофейная пена

Aged a little and this is fantastic. I seriously don’t understand Founders sometimes. They axe this beer and CBS for some pretty questionable brands. Some of us still love classic RIS. Bring this back, then put some of it in barrels. Done.

Brewed in 2014 and cellared by Dmitry. An immense, mighty beer, profound depth of flavor, rich and heavy, complex umami, treacle, alcohol, bitter black patent malt notes, hint of horse blanket funk.

The shirt, the glass and the beer. This a great Russian imperial. It is a 2019 vintage. I find this beer to be much more satisfying than KBS. Hopefully they will brew it again soon, as I am down to 2 bottles in my stash.

Back home after 10 days in Nashville at the Toastmasters Convention, treated myself to an excellent heavyweight favorite. Deep, dark chocolate, some coffee, love the prunes, raisins, dates, figs. Traditional licorice notes are light. Really nice.
