Interesting beer. Barrel, ginger, spice…but thin. Not a must try. But something a bit different.

The quality is there, but the spices are a bit rough.

Could have done without the clove aftertaste.

Not sure if it's the day I've had or what but this beer is extra special tasty and I'm here for it.

Too much ginger for me. Would like a barrel aged barley wine from founders without the ginger and spice

a bit spicier than some other gingerbread beers I’ve had, but still good

Aroma of ginger and clove with traces of oak and some hint of this being a barleywine. Taste features heavy amounts of booze with clove, ginger, and a touch of cinnamon. Very warm finish. Certainly a beer to sip and savor.

So good, unlike the officiating for this game unless you root for the Titans. (3) uncalled helmet to helmet hits, a horse-collar tackle, late hits, well after the whistle and who knows what else I missed?!

The barrel and ginger give it a Vernor’s quality!

A different kind of barleywine than I’m used to but I like it. The spices make it not as sweet as some barleywines.

Unique beer #5,000 on Untapped. Back in the Before Times, I would go out and find rare beers for these milestone check-ins. Didn’t get to it this time, so I’ll settle in with something from the fridge and a classic of 60s spy-fi. Cheers to the next 5000!
