A lot of good spices bringing out the gingerbread flavor. Gets to be a little much towards the end and is a little more boozy than I'd like, but otherwise tastes like Christmas

A surprise when I saw this, wasn’t aware. You either like or don’t per posts. Me likey! Out cold: a bit scrambled yet good. As it warms becomes organized. Gingerbread cookies BBA Barleywine. So many notes dancing together - spices in beers don’t scare me!

Yow! Double-recipe ginger snap cookies soaked in aged Bourbon, sprinkled with pumpkin pie spice, with fresh zested orange peel in a bombastic malt-rich Barleywine. I let this bad boy warm for 15 minutes and have been swirling and sipping since. Cheers!

This could easily be a favorite holiday beer. The 12.8% ABV is deceptive under the nicely balanced Barleywine Ale with Ginger, Cinnamon and Clove.

Whoa.... It's like drinking ginger snap cookie dough that's been aged in a barrel! Boozy and full flavored without being thick and hard to drink. Very sweet, but it fits with the flavor profile. Good beer for this time of year.

Gingerbread has always been one of my favorite Christmas treats because it’s more spicy than sweet. Same can be said for this brew. Barley wine style makes for an interesting contrast to similarly spiced stouts

On the third day of Beermas, a giant Gingerbread Man snuck into my house and left this - I enjoy Founders, and really wanted to like it, but it was way too sweet and the finish tasted very astringent.

That was surprisingly good. I didn't expect the mature flavor and sweetness. Spicy but not hot.

I just can’t with this one. I was expecting gingerbread, and instead get straight ginger. It’s not for my palate, but I’m sure there’s an audience for it

Lots of flavors hit you on first sip... Ginger, clove, bourbon. Very sweet and boozy. I like all the flavors, but I'm glad we're splitting this one. Definitely a one and done kind of beer. 3rd day of Beermas 🍻🎄🎅🦌
