Pretty good. I agree the ginger flavor is strong but it also has a butterscotch aroma for some reason.

True the ginger and clove overpowers this beer, but if you like a 12.8% barley with a lot of ginger, you want to give it a try.

Finally! I don’t have to eat gingerbread cookies while drinking my barely wines to achieve the euphoria I’ve been looking for! Strong allspice and clove get interrupted by boozy barely wine and warm ginger flavor with a sweet vanilla finish

A bit heavy on the ginger, it covers up part of what I like in a Barleywine.

Beautiful orangish bronze lightly colored haze. Cloves on the nose and nutmeg on the palate. Too much ginger, etc. Spice. Bitter. Strong!

A little too much clove on the nose, pleasantly surprised by the flavor. God, solid, unique beer. I probably wouldn’t order again

Big ginger flavors with some spice and sweet at the end. Barrel flavors are fairly light. Lots of spice on the nose. A little boozy. More an imperial ginger/spice beer than a barleywine outside the ABV. Doesn’t have the thick malt sweetness of most bw.

Sweet ginger root, late rootbeer candy note, more flat than effervescent. Spiced gingerbread cookie on the finish,but nit dominating. I'd like to try it draft style Not driving all the way to New Holland

You better love ginger and spice to partake in this. I love gingerbread and barleywine but this is not my jam. This is more like ginger spice and absolutely nothing nice about this beer.
