Rough. It's a barrel aged beer with spices. It's better than some, but certainly a tough beer to drink.

Lots of ginger with a small hint of vanilla. Definitely different for Founders.

One more festive gingerbread beer for the season and oh the barrel aging is so nice - I must've been a good boy this year! 🎅

Definite ginger and a little clove on the nose. Clove and cinnamon come through well in the taste. Between that and the booziness it’s definitely a warming beer. Spice flavor tends to dominate though. Ends up like a clove beer w/ some sweetness.

This is very good Al the flavors are there and it has a nice tart finish with a lot of sweetness.

Gingerbread in a glass. Beautifully balanced. Excellent.

Pretty good. However, there is a very subtle flavor that seems a little off.

Big notes of ginger, nutmeg, and clove....some hints of vanilla and oak from the barrel-aging. The flavors definitely meld together better as it warms.

Ginger and clove on the nose. Starts with the same flavors, but hits hard what the bourbon and boozy flavors in the back end.

Ginger spice for Christmas Eve night. Ginger definitely mellows as it warms up. A little overpowering when it’s cold.

Ginger/clove nose with some bourbon burn to the nostrils. Tastes like ginger bread with a healthy dose of clove added. Bourbon and some woody flavors in the finish.
