Pretty tasty! Getting a TON of ginger which I would (personally) like dialed down a few notches but great at 12.8!

Barrel-aged barleywine ale with ginger, cinnamon and clove. Perfect for easing the pain of reorganizing and packing Christmas decorations!

Not a lover of barley wine but this is extraordinarily good. Founders hit the mark

Nice aroma of fresh ginger, but a little too boozy for my preferences. Overall a very tasty and good brew though!

Wow that is wild, but good. Tastes like gingerbread bourbon.

Ty C. I found it in Pennsylvania. The Ginger made me hesitate. Not a fan. It’s a BA Barleywine so I had to try it. This is a low rating for a Barleywine for me. The Ginger did it. I’ll have one for you Tim S. Cheers 🍻

Top of the barrel to you. So much ginger here might as well label this barley wine as anti-inflammatory

Picked up 3 of these today for $3 each, including tax. Wow! Bottled 10/19/23. Pleasing ginger and spice aroma. More going on with the taste. Great flavor with clove and ginger coming together nicely in this 12.8% ABV. Cheers friends!🍻

Founders continues its crusade to make every style a 12% or higher. A barleywine is the perfect style into which adding spices and ginger works. Smooth and spicy, with a balanced blend of flavors. The perfect lead-in to the holiday season.

Tastes like Christmassss! A very sneaky 12.8%, I would never guess it was that boozy from how smooth it is. Very balanced flavors, I love this

Starts a little smoky but smoothes out with a gingery finish

Didn’t taste much like barleywine or bourbon, but I don’t care because it’s a delightful, festive beverage. The ginger and cinnamon bring a little spicy heat. Ginger, cinnamon, cookie, vanilla, clove, oak, hints of whiskey, butterscotch and toffee.

Wow. This is the first ginger Bier that I can honestly say I really enjoy drinking. Happy Aloha Friday🏝

A different kind of barleywine than I’m used to but I like it. The spices make it not as sweet as some barleywines.

So good, unlike the officiating for this game unless you root for the Titans. (3) uncalled helmet to helmet hits, a horse-collar tackle, late hits, well after the whistle and who knows what else I missed?!

Christmas in your mouth! Would definitely recommend if you take your happiness seriously

Yow! Double-recipe ginger snap cookies soaked in aged Bourbon, sprinkled with pumpkin pie spice, with fresh zested orange peel in a bombastic malt-rich Barleywine. I let this bad boy warm for 15 minutes and have been swirling and sipping since. Cheers!
