Been a while since I have had a new bottle but just as good as always

This one is well balanced. Not one flavor sticks out too much. Hides the ABV really nicely. Git some!

Not gonna lie. This exceeded my expectations. I was thinking I’d get let down by getting back together with my ex. She’s still very tasty. Bourbon and maple come through nicely 🥃 🍁

Coffee and a hint of maple on the nose. Smooth mouthfeel, lots of bubbles, full bodied. Coffee and maple throughout the palate. Maple finish. So glad it’s back!

Nice to see this is back ( as I predicted it would several years ago) it's good but not nearly as good as when it was draft only. Not as good as when was last packaged even. Thin body but good.

Irish coffee nose with accenting cacao and maple, tons of coffee on it this fresh, moderate plus body, moderate carb, delicious coffee with 2 sugars, bourbon and dark chocolate mid, off-dry bitter black coffee and cacao finish with a kiss of bourbon, 💎

This version is sweeter than I remember. The bourbon and maple really come out

This is possibly the best beer ever. I’ve never had it fresh. I found the last batch from 2017 at some random liquor store in 2020, so the bourbon notes had faded. This one though, strong and delicious. Let it warm up a bit though.

“Erhhhmagerddd it’s back” this… tastes like fucking rauchbier Pepsi. Do not recommend. I traded a 750 of this for King Henry a decade ago.

“Is this real life?” 2023 is the return of one of the best beers in the world IMO. 🍁 ☕️ 🍺

Mmm, fresh CBS.See previous reviews of various vintages. This iteration has all the complex choco/java/mapley/roasty flavors but a very subtle bourbony/whiskyish note.Much less intense than previous years to my tastebuds but still worth every penny. Dear

Hello Old Friend. Not as good as past years' bottles, but I'm glad this is back. We initiated the Cry It Out method with our baby tonight after a 2 month battle with her sleep. Needed to bring special coping skills to get through this. She's asleep!

Pours opaque brown. Nose is cocoa & coffee with maple notes. Maple & cocoa forward with soft vanilla into the finish all on a light coffee base. Bourbon is a subtle accent. Wonderful body & mouthfeel. ABV very well hidden. Brewer's notes are spot on.

Less bourbon and maple with more chocolate and coffee. Miss the extra bourbon.

Still true to form mostly. Bit more oakey barrel than booze though.

Pretty good actually. Surprised I like this as much as I do.

Perhaps not as good as I remember, but still tasty. Needs to warm up a bit in the glass. 4.3 - 4.4 range.

Strong roasted coffee and sweet maple aroma and taste. Oak notes and a hint of bourbon. Started with a 4.75 but pushed it to a 5 as it warmed. Take your time with this one. It's a damned good beer, good to have it back.
