Starts out with mild pepper burn that fades quickly, then bathes your taste buds with delicious chocolate. Hard to say when not taste-tested against other KBS variants, but this one seems the most chocolaty.

This has become my favorite KBS variant because of how subtle the pepper is. It gives a touch of warmth on the edges of the tongue. Chocolate is there playing well with the base KBS.

Roasted chocolate nose. Fully malt, chocolate, and coffee flavors. Much lighter than I expected. Subtle hint of spice is nice without being overpowering

Nice mild coffee/chocolate and a little boozy, very little spiciness.

Smooth chocolate coffee with hints of chilis. Would have liked more chili flavor

Coffee roasty spicy. Slight green pepper on the nose but none in the flavor. Dark chocolate as a base for the palate.

Very nice blend of smoke, chocolate, and spice in this thick KBS base.

It's a xocoveza clone. Is that a bad thing? Absolutely not. Is it significantly different? Absolutely not.

Regular kbs at first/cold. Slight hints of chocolate and spicy bite start creeping in as it warms. Again hint of spice. Not exactly the bold flavors we used to expect and get from founders.

I was expecting more spice, but I’m not disappointed. This is an amazing Imp stout. My favorite KBS version so far.

It's the same KBS base with chocolate notes. The spiciness comes out as it warms.

Perfect amount of spice to pair with the amazing bitter dark chocolate.
