Harmonize is the key word in the write up. The coffee chocolate and slight BBL play very nicely together. Neither dominates which is unusual in this style. Well Done. Lighter than I expected.

Decadent chocolate tones from front to back, builds up nearer midpoint and finishes semi-bolder. Excellent display of fluffy chocolate that lingers on the palette leaving nice notes to bittersweet espresso. Dangerously drinkable and delicious!

Really balanced. Good roasty coffee grinds, mild bitterness, subtle chocolate. A good stout first and foremost. Adjuncts are a light support.

A really nice variant. Espresso notes dominate with deep, roasty coffee. Chocolate comes in later giving a creaminess. Definitely in the upper tier of KBS variants. Buy a 4-pack or so and not a single.

Pretty dang good, but I was hoping for a little more espresso character. Chocolate and sweetness nice! Too damn hot outside side in the house with ceiling fan wide open, pretending it's cool stout weather.

New variant! Nose is a blend of strong coffee with semi-sweet chocolate that ends with slight bourbon. Smooth body with same flavors as in the nose. Bourbon/slight warm booze at the end. Basically a chocolate version of the OG espresso variant.

Initial aroma is mostly ethanol. Short covered rest reveals serious dark fruit and a bit of sticky roast. First sip is dark fruit, bitter chocolate & bitter coffee... or is it bitter coffee & bitter chocolate? BTLD on 11.18.19 #papafridge
