Almost exactly what I expected and was hoping for. Rich strong notes of chocolate and coffee! Would’ve liked a little more bourbon and a little thicker mouthfeel. But the flavors there are solid!

Very smooth. Chocolate is just right. Strong enough, yet not overpowering. Espresso is subtle, but you know it’s there. This is my second favorite KBS behind Mackinac Fudge.

Pretty solid, one of the better variants. As expected, barrel is a bit hidden from adjuncts, but thankfully not overly sweet. Medium bodied. Pretty good.

A smoky espresso nose with some dry dusty cocoa around the edges. Big KBS footprint, nice barrel-y element, a sweetish licorice/root beer,/dark chocolate vibe.

Mostly dark roast coffee, but some cream, sugar & vanilla aroma. Huge coffee up front, but the milk chocolate, vanilla & bourbon is there. The 12% grows over time, but it’s not hot. The coffee vs KBS notes balance out the more I sip this.

I get I hint of chocolate and an appropriate amount of bourbon. The bourbon level is nearly perfect, not over powering but noticeable. Not heap of coffee flavor either. Somehow this works and Sparky the Beer Hound recommends.
