Been aging this since fresh. A little musty, but sharing it on St. Patrick's day with my best bud is what it was meant for. ❤

I can’t be the only who’s had a case squirreled away in the basement, right? Chad T.

Like a fine wine. Sweeter and less boozy, scary good.

Not a barleywine / a fortified hop matrix / unlike anything

More boozy than the 2022. It’s still fruity and lots of alcohol. Tasty. Not bad. Good. Stuff.

Seems to have aged extraordinarily well. April 2016 bottle date. Darkened up quite a bit, I think? Fair bit of sediment at the bottom of the bottle.

What a treat: super boozy and yet very pleasant, caramelly, bitter with a mint finish. Awesome beer

Horrible as an IPA, but fantastic as an American barleywine :) Sherry, brown sugar, light citrus, long warming finish. A great beer to hide away for 5+ years

Super smooth. Borderline sweet. Could almost see drinking this warm as a spirit more than a beer.

Ages super super well, this is my favorite beer to age. Sweetens out but balanced, absolutely no burn. Layers and layers of flavor. Did in vertical with 2017 and 2019, and 2017 was my favorite. Compared to the 2017 it’s on the downslope so good to open

120 Minutes spent shredding today. An undisclosed amount of minutes lying in the snow.

The ultimate small pour! Ode to Martin and the barrel chest!

Operation Clear the Cellar I always enjoy this beer, fresh or aged. Heavy pine resin hop bomb with a burst of boozy maltiness, with hops lingering on the finish.
