Enormously jammy. Aggressively sweet. Boozy heat. This would be a fun bottle to split, but 12 oz is a bit much for one person. I like it, I just can’t finish it.

Pretty tasty. Tons of tart berries up front. Very thick, cloudy concoction. Starts out tart then ends up sweet. Interesting beer.

2015, 6 year aged. Drinks like a barleywine or not sour fruit beer at this point. Basically tastes like a super sweet fruit drink or gummy candy. A little boozy but definitely not like it's 18%

Mild dark sort of candied blueberry, blackberry, faint blueberry pie, subtle dark fruity chocolatey aroma with a warmth fruity like port wine, subtle blueberry covered in chocolate nose and a big warmth boatload of candied dark wild berry jam, malty taste

Boozy AF - not a surprise for an 18%. Once that fades - the berry complexity here is nice. Can taste all four - light tart blackberry + raspberry. Boysenberry in roof of mouth. Elderberry in finish. Touch of yeast in aftertaste. Fun not a repeat

After sitting for 3yrs this beer is wonderful. Needs to warm up so the dark fruit / raisin comes out.

I'm down. At 3.5 yrs old the fruit notes were prune-y but still good dark berry flavor in there too and the alcohol was very smoothed out. And I'll see myself to bed now...

Great dark fruit on nose that transfers well to palate; maybe half red fruit on palate and finishes dry almost like wine; 3+ years old

Amazing berry flavor and a familiar dogfish backbone

Man this one was not for me. Bitter, super alcoholic tasting and cough syrup esqe. Was hoping for a fruity sour but this one missed the mark.

Had this one sitting around for quite a while so figured I would crack it open. Strong but flavorful.

Closer to port wine than beer but delicious nonetheless. 18% well hidden behind the taste of gourmet berry jam.

Drinks like an 18% fruit beer. And I REALLY miss getting DFH variety in NC. #bringbackpalosanto

Dug this out of the beer fridge. Btld 6/15/18. Just like the description says. Aging has created a more tart experience..at least for me.
