Fruit-Full Fort

Strong Ale - Other

A twist on our beloved Fort, Fruit-Full Fort is brewed with four types of berries - raspberry, blackberry, boysenberry and elderberry. This juicy blend of dark berries creates depth and complexity reminiscent of a jammy red wine.

This batch tastes off from others that I have had in the past. Strong and boozy but the fruit flavors seem to be off with this particular batch.

Found this in the crisper from who knows when. Potent. Kelsey's fiance is having it. I just poured a taster size.

There’s fruit in that boozy somewhere, holy 18% abv! The label didn’t mention what I was getting myself into.

Some days you need a strong one. This one aged well- looks like a plum jam, tastes like fruity whiskey.

This did not age well. Fruit is gone, leaving a very boozy and uninspired drink. Pretty much malt and alcohol at this point. Not sure if I aged wrong or just not a DFH that lends itself to keeping.

Wow! 18% ABV, strong but not harsh booziness. Tons of fruit and full on malt. Figs. This is quite something. Cloudy AF with tons of floaties.

An 18% beer is illegal in Iowa, so I won't say who I got it from. Thanks for the share, mystery outlaw! I made sure a bunch of people got to try it.

Killer 18%. Haven't had this in almost 2 years. Found 3 bottles and nabbed them. Just checked for a date and I think it was bottled in 2016! Too lazy to walk to the basement to check the other bottles. Fruity and as per label, like a jammy red wine.
