Stress reliever / celebratory beer. Bought a new car. End result is good but the process is stressful and sucks. Needed a beer!

Still a little hot with some residual acidity, but tastes nice on a rainy, stormy summer evening

Strong boozy brown ale. Dark fruit upfront with a light mouthfeel for a Belgian. More prune that raisin. Not what I would call sweet, dark caramel notes that don’t last but half a sip. Aftertaste is overpowered by alcohol.

4.25 Boozy and sweet. Very nice after 2 months of not drinking. 15%

Aged since fall 2019. Extremely strong, complex flavor, with a more distinct "raisin" flavor than when I first tried it years ago.

This bottle is from 2018, and has aged amazingly well. Such a boozy mess, with rich caramel and raisin sweetness, it’s totally for sipping only, and only after it’s warmed to cellar temps

it's a bit strong but would pair nicely with a steak... or you could just use it to get pumbaa blackout (16-20%)

Boozy, raisiny, malty, and sweet. Oh, and did I mention boozy? This one is better a bit warmer than the 40F coming out of the fridge.

Raisins and brown sugar definitely make this taste like life. Very yummy and easy to drink for the abv. As it got to room temp it started getting squirrely/odd/all over the place

2018 vintage, held up very well. Better as it warms

2014 vintage. Cloudy, slight raisin. Deep molasses booziness. Mellowed a bit.

Strong malty and dried fruit aroma. Slightly boozy aroma warning. Unique amber brown color is cloudy. Strong sweet taste. Raisin retro nasal. Boozy after taste leads to dry/ tannin cleansing of the pallet.

Awesome to find this lonely bottle on the shelf. Always a treat.

Musty, lightly sweet, bready aroma. Smooth, nice mouthfeel, pleasantly sweet, white grapes, sultanas, brown sugar. Aftertaste is a little bitter.🤔

Hilariously strong, very expensive, and yet somehow worth it. Sip slow, or this one will knock you over. Very figgy and sweet, yet not sickeningly syrupy.

This one really needs to be a slow sipper, and I’m happy to make it last.

Fruity, boozy, malty, and sweet. Drinks like a barrel-aged brew. Would be great for sitting in front of a fire on a chilly night.

Not sure about the year. It's old. Still lovely.

16.5%. Aged for nearly 5 years (!), bottled on December 20th, 2018. Brewed with an apparently “obscene” amount of raisins and brown sugar. Dark, full, boozy, sweet potent raisins, tons of brown sugar, molasses, hot caramel, flannel, woods, and fire.

01-18-2019 bottle date. Nice, but probably at the end of this aging.

From 2019 - ruddy reddish brown pour - brown sugar, raisins, prunes and a sweet boozy kick. Yeah this is hot but fruity and sweet and tasty.

Bottle ages fantastically as mine was time-stamped 12/13/2018. This has huge notes of brown sugar & raisins both in flavor/aroma.

2015 vintage Dogfish Head. Better than it should be.

Kicking off the big 4-0 with an aged d'extra. Delish.
