Boozy raisin bread pudding. Brown sugar comes through nicely. Bottled 1/11/19.

Aged about 5-6 years. Big, rich, sweet, and boozy. Raisins and brown sugar all over it, giving an almost bourbonesque note to the big body. Finish has a subtle bite to it.

Strong dark fruit nose and taste. The raisins, sweetness, and booze really comes out. This is the best strong ale I have ever had.

Rare, novel beer, but it was very strong alcohol and raison. Not my taste profile. Had both 2014 and 2018.

An 8-year-old #EmersonBrooks Ale gets tastier & fuller while making life sweeter with each passing year. 8 really is great!

Very big but well balanced! Brown sugar raisin nails the profile. Smooooth. 18% hidden very well! Nice & warm.

The scent of raisins, followed by a malty, boozy, sweet, fruity quaff, leaving a sense of a bourbon barrel ale. Quite tasty. Number 21 (delayed) in the #bankswinesandspirits Advent Calendar box.
