Sometimes ya oughta grab one from the back of the storage. Age hasn’t mellowed this boozy beast much. A touch of raisin sweetness on the back end.

Haven’t had any vintage of this in 6.5 years. Forgot how good this is. Brown sugar boozy soaked raisin goodness. 4.40ish

Really nice toffee/raisin flavor on a thin but smooth mouthfeel. Really good stuff

Malts on malts. Lots of pumpernickel bread pudding, fruit cake, raisin, fig, toffee. Not much booze, but its definitely a big beer. Good stuff

Another strong cellar beer to cap off the weekend. Bottled 12/13/18. Boozy flavors have mellowed, still get some raisins and brown sugar.

Better than fresh, less burn, but still some heat. Found it on sale today. Saving my cellar bottles.

Picked up a bunch on close out DFH prob won’t make again. Big fan of this, still a little hot. I’ve got plenty to try over the next decade.

Caramel, raisins, and sweetness in aroma. Taste follows aroma along with a ton of booze. Bottle share. Bottled on 12/13/18 1433. Thanks, Neighbor Jerry! Late checkin.

Initially, I thought it drank a few years older than an ‘18. But at room temp, sips nicely. The sugars from the raisins provide a great natural mask for the booze. $10/ 12oz bottle is steep. But from time to time, I’d scope out again.

Better aged for 5 years or so, 2007 and 2015 were better.

Mistakenly opened this. Wanted to age 5-10 years to get it ripe and delicious. Right now, a boozy barleywine full of malts and caramel
