Woooow! Not for the feint of heart. Boozy, sweet up front, lots of bitterness on the finish. 18%!! 😳 (4.2/5)

Grown on me big time once you treat this as a barleywine instead of an IPA

Lost most of the carbonation. Tastes like sweet nectar of the gods!

This is sweet, syrupy, and dangerously easy to drink. Glad something got better over 2020-2022.

I guess the trick for me is to make an IPA taste like a barleywine. This is great.

Just WOW. Ages super super well, this is my favorite beer to age. Layers and layers of flavor. Did in vertical with 2016 and 2017 which were both better but still good. Had some burn compared to the older ones but still balanced with some sweetness

Bottled on 08/08/2019 (#jerrygarcia). Melded hops that pair well with a barleywine body, probably one of the few times an old, hoppy beer works. Hitting right.

Aged nicely, seems a little smoother than last tasting

120 IBUs & 21% ABV, officially Strongest Beer I've ever tasted! Hoppy, acidic, bitter...almost like an herbal beer liqueur. Sweet caramely malts almost taste raisiney or brown sugar & drink as warming as sherry. Hops: strong orange, grapefruit & resin.

FRAFOGB. Wildly boozie for an ipa but I'd like to try it again on it's own

Felt like a good night for it. Not the best but also semi enjoyable solo

Nice to strip out that hazy stuff occasionally and get some old school sweet, highly alcoholic ipa. Bracing, but good for ya.

Happy 120 Day! 2019 is good but definitely needs more time to mellow.

Not as intense or bitter as I anticipated. Reeeeally boozy double/triple/quadrupal IPA. Still some American pith and pine hop flavor.

Bottled 8/23/2019 the bottle invites you to “Enjoy now or age for a decade or so.” I should have found a fresh one for side-by-side tasting. Anyway, this is tasty, a little sweet, intensely hoppy 😎

Strong, sweet, and hoppy. The hops are muted by the strength, but it’s good. The appearance is darker IPA hues.

ages well, they say. i suppose so. still good, for sure. more of a sweet barleywine than an IPA after 2 years, but a really nice beer.

Aged 2.5 years mellows the flavor brings an odd banana finish.
