5 years and this beer ages so well. So smooth and easy to drink. Good stuff indeed!

Happy 120120 day! This beer is oxidized, as far as I can tell, but it certainly hasn’t been treated well, lol

Pretty darn good after almost 6 years. I think I’ll save my other ones longer for science but had to open one on 12/01/20 since we won’t get that again for a hundred years

Cheers to my high school buddy Scott, retiring after a 35 year career. Live long and Prosper!

1/14/15 - not as sweet as the 2016 I tried just before this. Boozy

I had one of these 4 years ago and it has made it more complex and floral. Amazing beer once it hits the 5 year mark. It turns into bwizzle.

I mean I have to give it props for holding up. Still lots of carb. Great caramel flavor. Not too much bite. If you still got it drink it!

Day 3 with no power. 0-30 degrees outside during this shit.... needed this beer.

Started out at 18% six years ago. Hide it in dark closet next to Nate M. underwater and the yeast turns it into at least 26%. Straight dinomate!! Too boozy for my personal constitution. do yourself a favor and check into A.A after checking this on Untappd

Aged 5+ years, still packs a punch, leather, tobacco, earthy, burnt caramel

It's a boozy, hoppy, oxidized mess of a barleywine after 6 years...and tastier than it should be.

Juan aged this (can’t get in GA due to the ABV 😑) and we cracked it open tonight. It did get a little hoppy funky but I’m still on the fence about aged IPAs.

One of the best barley wines when aged properly. Delicious. #HappyNationalBeerDay

Lots of caramel and toffee flavors. Also some nuttiness. Essentially a Barleywine. Really good at 6 years!

No better beer to celebrate the 120th day of the year. 5 years old and drinking just excellent. Dangerously smooth at the ABV.

Yes. 2015. 6 years aged. Tastes awesome. Bought it when we moved to our house. Leaving this next week for NC. Will miss you guys!

Malt circus and I love it! Delivers like a hopped up sherry at this ABV with malt bill notes approximating a dense rye bread taste. Brisk, prickling carbonation meets the tongue, with a sweet syrupy soft bitterness that rises and falls in waves. 😀👍😘

Had ‘15 fresh from a keg in Baltimore - Max’s Tap House on a cold/snowy March afternoon. Now 6 yrs later from the cellar - candy. Always amazed how these age to pure delight. Malty, caramel, rock candy, fruits & boozy. Additional yrs aging in the cellar!
