Might be the best barrel aged i have had. Still gets that boozy taste but its tempered in this beer.

Yum, has a lot of flavor. I get vanilla, date, some chocolate and a lingering barrel flavor. It is pretty sweet with a bit of bitterness on the aftertaste. It does burn going down and had C02 added, but probably too strong for the yeast to survive.

Good but a bit overrated. Nice overall with great malt/roast and the strong booze…. But not as barrel/flavorful as expected

Dark cherry. Cocoa. Hint of bourbon/vanilla from the barrels. Damn good but more than I need at this time of night

I’m not quite as fond of the stronger stouts but this was better than expected. Aged it one year.

Had almost like a whiskey smell to the nose. Definite chocolate notes in the flavor. Dam strong brew.

It’s wild to try this alongside the actual Utopia. It’s so sweet that it makes the Utopia taste salty by comparison.

Drank a few ounces. This did absolutley nothing for me. If this is a 4.4 my palate is destroyed.
