This is a BIG freakin’ barrel aged stout. Totally get the dried fruit/raisen and the port-esque flavors of the barrel. Alcohol hits your mouth hard.

Couldn't get the Utopias, so I got the next best. At 17.2%, this is deceptively smooth. Definitely let it warm some, the flavor comes through so much better. Happy I picked up case to let some age.

Excellent, I really enjoyed this one! The best part about having an exceptional beer like this?? Sharing it with a long standing friend, brother and partner in exceptional beer drinking! Thanks Dave!

Baby steps man.....baby steps....chilly night calls for a warmer. Gonna sleep well tonight. Malty, molasses, very warming finish, caramel, fig, raisin. Man that's tasty! Thanks Jerry J.

Super intense out of the bottle but settled into some rich notes afterwards. As always with wws, dangerously so.

Wonderful boozy smell and taste. A little bit of a boozy bite but generally smooth for 17%.

Figs and raisins and barleywine undertones galore. A bit of the heat WWS is known for, but both expected for over 17% and mingles with the molasses very well. Thanks so much Alex K.

Very good. Not too boozy tasting even though the ABV is high.

Since anything that’s “big” craft beer is so damn divisive, I’m just gonna be real here. Gimmicky yeah maybe, but I’ve never had the luxury of having Utopias (not for lack of trying to hustle every rep). This is fun. Strong Ale > Stout. Dry, sherry vibes.

Bonjour Zonjour Nonjour Bonjour
Smooth for how damn boozy it is, a time for bed beer. Wish it was thicker…(fill in your own joke).

Really boozy, which is normally good but this stout lacks any depth or thickness. Caramel undertones

Very boozy but less fusel/solventy than regular WWS at release. Very good, excellent barrel.

And this is how I get drunk off one beer. But it’s tasty!

Yo! Is that what Utopias tastes like?! I'm even more aggressively hunting for it now.

Oh mama! Relatively smooth for 17.3%. Dried fruit and chocolate are dominant flavors. Going to lay down a few bottles for future enjoyment.
