What. A. Journey. Extraordinarily complex. I get lots of sherry/port aroma. Taste: bourbon spice/burn, eventually some caramel. Finish burns the gums and then swirls around for nearly five minutes. Not all that dark or thick. This is hard to rate...

Split this one with a friend. That Utopias comes through unchecked. If you aren't looking to drop three C's on a bottle this will get you pretty close.

Aroma at first is molasses. Chocolate and raisin are the flavors I get. Definitely potent, being 17.3%. Out of respect, I'll rate this a tad higher than I personally feel.

This was my consolation prize for arriving at Wine, Beer, & Spirits too late to get a bottle of their Eagle Rare barrel pick. Woe is me. Great beer, though. Huge aroma that hits you from a mile away.

A massive BA stout with a massive nose. Little thin but big bold flavors. Get a lot of barrel also.

So rich and boozy. A sipper for sure…had to save 1/2 for dessert the next night!

Nice smooth barrel. Much prefer this to the bourbon. Creamy with some spice. Not an overthick mouthfeel, but very noticably boozy base. Chocolate bars, spice.

Very boozy but what do expect for a 17+ ABV. Tasty sipper with a whole world of thing going on. Probably needs to age for a few years before it gets a higher rating.

This is insanely boozy. Maple, and a decent amount of coconutty roastiness, and has a lot of of Utopias character.
