Big boozy stout. Chocolate, oak, vanilla, bourbon, yada yada yada.

I always forget how good this is. Especially for 16%.

Pretty smooth already, still made a good heaven and hell

Rich? More like decadent. Woody bourbon over boozy cherries. This knocks off the socks, grows hair on hairs... Lisa's favorite

About 1.5 years in the fridge. Still exceedingly hot. Intense roast followed by alcohol burn. Tops this year's Narwhal by a bunch for smack you in the face stout

Decadent notes of sweet dried fruit on nose; smooth carb w/ a nice blend of roasted malts notes, candied fruit, caramel & a bit of spices; a smooth semi sweet finish. Cellar aging did this one well!

Age was good for this! Less boozy and more flavorful!

Heavy molasses, moderately sweet. Thick satisfying mouth feel.

Wow I didn’t know this was 16%... dark fruit anise and some hip bitterness. I wouldn’t have guessed 16%

Great flavor with high ABV. Only improvement would be bourbon barrel aging.

Boozy deliciousness just the right amount of sweetness

Super rich dark roast, sweet booziness almost like a coffee barleywine, that 1.6% really sneaks up on you... wait... my sources are telling me that’s 16%, well then yeah man this brings the 🔥

Was lucky enough to find this dusty old beer “aging” for 2 years on the shelf in the liquor store.

Evolving nicely. Big malty chocolate, tons of dark fruit, anise, licorice, a hint of soy sauce. Way too smooth for the ABV.

Great stuff! Impressively balanced cocoa powder, caramel, moderately burnt brown sugar, leather, & molasses, w/ lesser plum, pomegranate, & dark red wine. Noticeable, pleasant hop bitterness @finish. Delightfully enticing. Amazing just below room temp.

Rummaging through the compound aging cellar I found this. Untappd says it’s 16% Dogfish says 15 to 20%. Drinking this I’m thinking about the 13 military lives lost this week, how they will never be able to raise a glass again. Freedom isn’t free!🇺🇸

Aged this a few years. No sweetness and edge is off. Musty and dry, really nice.
