Aged beautifully. Still drinking great, boozy but not burning, strong but smooth. loads of dark fruit.

Prefer the 2013. Seems is retained more hop character, less alcohol.

There’s that booziness again. Strong enough to smell it this time. Barely any hoppiness, still, but the malt has plenty more alcohol heft.

01/14/14 Wonderful. Man, this she's so well! Deep chocolate, caramel, ridiculous toasted oak, all without any kinds of barrels. The hoppiness in this has developed into this oil slick and medicinal character, and I mean that in the rare best of ways

Syrupy, pretty much a Barley wine but a bad barley wine. Was aged properly. Guessing the sweet spot for aging one of these is more like 2-5 years or so, 10 years is way too long.

Not sure it was supposed to age THAT much. Just look at the color to have proof this thing was stout. 20% ABV easy!

Bottle date rubbed off. Pretty sure it 2014, but might be 2012.

Mini vertical with '16 and '17. This one was a bit flat, although that doesn't bother me so much.
