The best beer I've had in a long long time, and I've been trying a lot of new ones recently. Absolutely fantastic. So much flavor but not overpowering, perfectly balanced with a wonderful sweetness. Hard to believe it's over 16%.

16.6% Imperial IPA Note: not a “Double” or a “Triple” or any such nonsense because if 10% is a triple than this would be a “Quintuple”. Fortunately for the mathematically challenged they just put the number on the bottle. A great, if a little boozy, IPA!

Smells like a more alcoholic 90 minute but upon a second smell the hops compete with the malt and high abv. taste is huge sherry abv malty sweetness notes and a bright orange hoppy piney bitterness that melds with the alcohol real well.

New bottle type. Probably the youngest I’ve ever had, they do age so well! This still has some verve and tons of boozy hops!
