Taste more like a wine to me than beer. But refreshing

Very much like a grapefruit, citrus heavy, wheat, golden straw color, light for 8%, agave

Close but misses. Strong citrus, very juicy grapefruit plus mixed zest aroma. Little too sweet but still OK. Ale has nice creaminess. But, there is something funky and off-putting in its second wave of flavor that lingers.

Grapefruit much? Aroma is grapefruit, but the agave and lime are tastebud testers. First double golden ale. New category? DFH is always trying to turn the ABV up to eleven.

Very grapefruity after a Fiddlehead. Don't love it. Drinks lighter than an 8% though.

If a golden ale could be sour, this would be the one. I actually really like it—fruity tangy delicious, but with the body to back it up and bring it into the realm of a sunny afternoon sesh.

Solid summer beer for this uncharacteristically summery weather. Grapefruity in a rind way, not a juice way (I believe the term is pithy)

Very juicy up front with big notes of grapefruit. Getting a hint of tequila and lime. Sweeter than I expected. One and done.
